Hi Family! I just thought I would post a few pics to show you how Claire is growing. She's getting some cheeks and a double chin but she's still just a little bird. The kids still enjoy holding her, and so far she has survived all of the hands on loving from Spencer. I have to stay RIGHT next to him when he has her because he will rock her and love her and then without warning, push her right off of his lap and say, "ME DONE!" I added this picture of Paige because I think it's funny that she has something in her genetic makeup so that when a camera is nearby her body automatically goes into this pose! (See both pics above!) Nicole and Corinne are still great helpers but I don't have pictures of them with her because when they are holding her, I'm running around trying to get stuff done! Love you all! Nancy
Paige is so cute! I LOVE the poses. I too strike a pose when the camera is on...it involves pointing one of my legs like a ballerina...don't know why, I was never a very good one! Little Claire is getting big, I love that Spencer is so involved, even if he shoves her off when he is done! That's a brother for ya! That is great the the two older girls can help you out..can I borrow them for the rest of the summer?! I shouldn't even complain, I only have 2 (plus Truman the boy we babysit), but still...you are one patient and wonderful mamma!

Out of the Mouths of Babes
Matt to kids: "I'm just being facetious." Corinne: "What's facetious?" Matt: "It means sarcastic." Corinne:"Well then just say 'sarcastic'! Why make it complicated? I mean, that's like, why would you say Czechoslovakia when you could just say Kentucky?!" (7/14/12)
Claire: "Grandpa, I want milk." Grandpa: "How do you spell milk?" Claire: Looks at grandpa for a minute and then says, "You tip it!". I'm sure she was wondering why he wanted to know how you "spill" milk. (7/8/12)
"Mom, when I yawn my eyes get sad." Claire, age 3 (3/14/12)
Paige: "Guess what happened at lunch today?!" Corinne: "Lady Gaga came?" Paige: "No. Better! My chocolate milk tasted like pink milk!!" (3/13/12)
"If we had to leave our house and could only bring 4 things I would bring: food, water, a guy who makes electric things work, and the wii." --Paige, age 8 (3/9/12)
"I really wish I had a different mom. One that's nice." ---Claire, age 3 (9/18/11) OUCH!!
5 y/o friend: "My brother's friend is scared of trees and branches." Spencer: "That's crazy!" Friend: "He thinks there's scary stuff in them." Spencer: "Like what?" Friend: "Porcupines" Spencer: "And mini-dragons?" Friend: "Yeah." (9/13/11)
